I like to think I’m awesome. But really I’m just like you trying to figure out the way all this works without losing my mind. I am a mother to an amazing, brilliant, witty child (but aren’t we all)- He has the soul of an 80-year-old man which is hilarious-compared to me a laid back, sarcastic mess of a woman who has decided that I need more adventures in my life so I can teach him to enjoy every moment. Fingers crossed I don’t screw this up! Woot-Woot!

I was born in Puerto Rico and grew up an Air Force brat so we lived in some pretty cool places. My family finally settled in on Eglin AFB in the majestic Emerald coast on the Florida panhandle. So i consider Niceville, Florida my home. (Yes its really called Niceville- no not everyone is nice -har har- *eye roll). I have two awesome parents who have been married for 36 years and an awesome little (not so little they are grown) brother and sister. I have also been blessed with 2 nephews and 2 spunky nieces. Sooo much love.

I moved to Atlanta at 21 (6 days after my birthday) I had my son at the tender age of 25 (6 days after my birthday) – (there’s something cosmic about 9/28 I’m convinced!) and was with his father for many years until we split up for good in 2013. So Ive been navigating this in the most interesting way. My family lives 5+ hours away so its just me and my son here in Atlanta and we go on all sorts of adventures. We like to volunteer a lot (he may be getting tired of it though but there’s no stopping) and we can binge watch Netflix and order a mean take out with the best of them. 🙂 Welcome to our world
